mattserlo87 01-15-2006, 04:55 PM Hey everyone i'm new to this web site and i don't know much like how to change the picture or anything, but anyway i just got a new z750s 06 haha its fun and its my first street bike i've never had one i always had 4 wheelers and dirt bikes. what would be some good ways of getting it to look better and get some extra speed while keeping the motor in good condition.
and the only reason for wanting to trade for another bike is because i want more of a sport bike than a touring bike its more for me and i've warmed up to it alot but its all good. :tt:
Let's see some picks or a link to some pics.:welcome:

Get a fender eliminator kit. To help post up some pics.
:nopicsbs:
To take care of the Engine....change the oil.:2cents:
JK_DILLA 01-15-2006, 10:02 PM I like it alot. Looks like it is more set up to do some touring than the Z1000. how do you like it so far?

R1up0n1 01-15-2006, 10:04 PM I'll pass on this one.
jeeps84 01-16-2006, 12:14 AM I would defiantly get rid of the rear fender. Then get a smoked wind screen and maybe a slip-on pip for sound and looks.
As for extra speed.
You need to learn the bike first and get familiar with riding on the street.
Do I see three cylinders or am I missing the other one on the header?
I'll pass on this one.
 I'd start by finding the rest of the plastics.
Gas Man 01-16-2006, 08:44 AM Weren't you just asking in a different thread about wheelies on this vs a 9R???

It does look that way!
You can see the 4th pip way to the side and under the oil filter.

IDK the true numbers but, I bet the oll 9 isn't much more powerful than the new 750. Its probably uses the same motor as the oll 7R.
ScottSellersUNR 01-17-2006, 12:07 AM JEEPs- The motor is a sleeved down Z1000 motor, which is a bored over ZX9R motor.. so that heritage is much closer then a 7R
And Matt Welcome... ONE SITE will get ya a million ideas for the bike... www.riderforums.com
the site caters to Z1000/Z750, SV650s and the old 750 kawi the Z750 replaced.
Itll have a ton of ideas plus others who have already done the mods and have results to show u.
but my :2cents: is fender eliminator first.. then a slip on pipe, a K&N and PC3 and i beleive theres a UK company already making a lower fairing for it.. search riderforums and youll find it.
Good luck and keep us updated on the Z750 as u get mods done to it.

Cool. :dthumb:
IDK anything about it and haven't researched anything. I just know how the bike companies tend to use older designs for bikes like this. The modified 9 motor should be way easier to get more out of any way.:2cents:
ScottSellersUNR 01-17-2006, 12:51 PM for a bargin 750, theyve gotten REALLY good results from mods. Combined with the riding position and such allowing for comfort, its a nice bike, i prob woulda went it it over the Z1000 if it was out when i bought it, but i am glad i didnt now, im ready t either buy a 1000SS bike or atl east do head and motor work to the Z now to get the feeling i got the first time i ran the Z1000 all the way through the revs and gears the first time, i think i need about 170 RWHP on my next bike.
I seen one of these in person today.:disapp: :2cents:
BGRacing 03-08-2006, 10:42 PM I just bought a 06 Z750S. I love it it handles like a dream. I noticed 1000-5500 RPM's kinda slow but once it hits 6000 RPM it's screams like a virgin in bed. I decided on a fender eliminator kit and a new slip on pipe. AND DONT FORGET are 750's got a header i love it. Need louder sound fuel jeting for better take off's in low RPM"S it is a good bike.IT got me a lot of poon-tang:twfrox:
