New toy in the stable.

As most of you know. We, mostly my wife (FireNIce) got a new 05 Subaru WRX STi not long ago.:willy: http://www.twowheelforum.com/photopost/direct_data/500/medium/101_0155s.JPG I absolutely love this car (bang for the buck). I found much much more that can be done to improve on an already great little car. The wife really didn't want to chance her new dependable fully warranted ride so soon with major go fast goodies.:disapp: Last week I found a local selling his 04.:drool: I just couldn't pass the deal up.:willy: Now we have His and Hers. thats a badd @$$ car Jeeps... $3,400 in the HP dept will yeild u around 430HP.. Not sure if that much HP in the 2.5 will get ya 200,000 without a rebuild, but with AWD it will school many a V8 badly. Nice car.. id love to have 1 let alone 2.

Ahhh :drool: man both of those are sweet rides! I can't decide which color I like more! I remember when I did car stereo/alarm installation a guy brought his brand new STi to me to have a stereo installed. (He drove it from the dealership...right to me) The car had like 4 miles on it. There were no speakers and no stereo in this car since it was a race edition. This one was blue with the gold rims. I actually like these two here with out the gold rims. I didn't realize they came with the silver wheels as an option. :drool: :drool: nuff said!:drool:

It is an option for silver or gold wheels. IDK if its always been that way. I'm thinking of powder coating mine (the white one) black with polished lip.

(small property boundaries) The bikes rule the garage/basement of the house. Is there much difference between the 04's and 05's. Very subtle differences in interior and exterior. Only enough to tell the deference in years if you are familiar with the car. I like the white alot! It just needs a light window tint! It already has dark smoke shown in pic's. The blue one has mirror now (not pictured)

There's so many mods for those things. i seen one the other day with dual exhaust and it sounded mean.

not many mods? theres a ton of weight reduction stuff... plus u cnba make it pass smog in CALi of all places at 430RWHP/..... Enough to slaughter many a splendid V8... the car has a TON of potential but not for the cheapest price. Power is aobut 4000$ and weight,,, a lot more to really get it light... but brakes and suspension need nothing minus maybe a hair lower if u wanna track it.... otherwise the car is GREAT mod'd or not. I want one, only way id opt away is if i could afford a track only car then id go the Evo8 route.

I'm not looking too humble any V8's or do any Rally events. I wanted a fun yet practical car to drive in the mountains. I defiantly will be doing some Autocross (racing the clock) and maybe some track days with it. As far as the Evo thing. They are red apples to yellow apples in comparison. The Suby just sounds better with the loud can.:2cents:

Enough to slaughter many a splendid V8... Ive got a "splendid V8" for him to race!!!! LOL Nice cars man!!! cant go wrong with them.. 2 years ago I had an 04 WRX (with about 6k invested) it made about 320awhp and was fun as hell..... but then I discovered the supercharged V-8! lol GOOD LUCK
