and the dealer called all of the other people on the waiting list to come out and see the bike. The new owner took delivery and about 8 guys watched in envy as he fired it up and rolled off into the sunset......
I didn't read the article, but a bud told me of a recent test and the only thing that the bike was somewhat dinged on was that the shifter / trans was "notchy" (?)
It's also been fun to see a few more Triumph air cooled parallel twins rolling around So. CA in chopper / bobber form. :cheers:

Can you imagen getting the call that probably went allot like this.
"We got a new 675 in today. Unfortunately its not yours but, your welcome to come and check it out as the owner takes delivery."
I probably would go to meet and see the new owner off too.

My bud had a deposit on a 675 and was planning on making it a track bike. (He's on a Tiger right now....I don't know WHY...)
Due to family priorities w/ the money, he has to give up the new bike.
Bummer.
I'm sure someone will take his place on the waiting list though.

Stopped by the local Euro bike shop earleir today...those biotches were closed...but they had the 675 (mustard yellow) on window display :drool: it had sold sticker on it...... but,.its is one sweet looking bike...& that mustard yellow color actually looks good in person.:dthumb:

Sport Rider has a nice article about the 675. They got a test ride. Sounds like a real solid bike...makes me want it even more.:drool:
