We had a spot down here and it use to get packed! this was before i rode though. i saw a few videos. There was cars racing bikes. trucks vs cars. cars vs cars. the whole nine. My buddy use to hit it up every Friday night. He has since PCS'd and I don't know what it's like nowadays.

Like once or twice a week they let anyone who pays the fee race. It's a good time. they got a car show and broads usually too. i would like to run my bike, but I don't want to look like a fool cuz i don't know **** about it. i'm a corners guy. i do like watching the drags though. In person, not on TV.

biker boys is great!! hahahah its the one place where you can see a bike go through 14 gears, and stop from 200 mph in 5 feet on a dirt road. back on topic....................... we have a place in toronto (woodbridge in particular) that has some pretty solid street racing. they have muscle cars shows everymonday night and alot of SS bikes normally come out and there are some solid quartermile bikes that do good runs in front of the resterant, there is probably a few miles of straight line.

Yeah, but in Torque, they could jump up on top of trains; jump across the breaks between train cars; pop the front wheels up and spin the bike around in the same spot like they are having sword fights.

All the street racing around here is very tight lipped and moves regularly. Sometimes a few times in one night. Anybody flashing enough cash can join in on the fun but, you still have to find the right people to find out where its going down that night. We have a few events similar to what you saw on Biker Boyz. Just had on last week. Mostly Hogs but, any one is welcome. Beer, soda, burgers, dogs and one big bike show. Parking lot drags (1/8), stunts and other agility contest (mostly for the Hogs). Its basically a small rally. Drag Strip closed and new park being built. Other close strips are English Mountain in Tenn.. and Shady Side in SC. Cant forget about Bristol but its a couple hours ride. That reminds me, Spring Nats soon.:willy:

your bike is insane spidy....................... i will definatly look you up, im glad to see there is another person on the planet that sees the potential in the XX, i just have a few things to get in order first, maybe some questions for you, in regard to turbos, exhaust, swingarms, etc. im in a transition now where im consitering running with struts, though that may be to rough on the road, which is what i use my bike for. i am also a little afraid of struts due to the amount of stress on the arms. im also wondering about if there is a sidewinder style exhasut somwhere being built for the XX and if it would be a waste to get if i go with a turbo down the road. hahahah so as you can see im real confused. so much i want to do and so much indescision.

Spiderman

Ive made the only sidewinder exhaust on the planet for the XX, I could make another if you so choose, but if your going to go turbo then stay away from any major exhaust mods, as far as the struts, dont even bother, I can sell you a lowering link and modified shock for your bike to race and run on the streets. I have never used a strut on any of my race bikes. If you were running a slick and wheelie bar then that would be different, but not on a street bike. your bike is insane spidy....................... i will definatly look you up, im glad to see there is another person on the planet that sees the potential in the XX, i just have a few things to get in order first, maybe some questions for you, in regard to turbos, exhaust, swingarms, etc. im in a transition now where im consitering running with struts, though that may be to rough on the road, which is what i use my bike for. i am also a little afraid of struts due to the amount of stress on the arms. im also wondering about if there is a sidewinder style exhasut somwhere being built for the XX and if it would be a waste to get if i go with a turbo down the road. hahahah so as you can see im real confused. so much i want to do and so much indescision.

Columbus Ohio... But it takes a lota haggling to get a street race going. The few i have attended usually takes a few hours to negotiate. Depending on the bikes, if one has NO2 and the other doesn't, the tank usually needs to be drained. Again, depending on bikes, bike lengths (head starts) are negotiated. Then comes the money talk... It's common to see the drag bikes get trailered in. Once the race is agreed and a location set, the word gets out and it usually lasts no more than 20 minutes. If it takes longer than that, cops show up in full force. Unfortunately, this was 15 years ago. -a|ex

Da' House of Hook is actually an IHRA sanctioned 1/4 mile track here in Augusta, (actually Jackson, SC) Ga. that let's Gamblers call each other out, agree to the money, and get down on a very well prepped and safe track, with a complete Medical and Safety crew on hand. I have personally seen $30,000 cash dollars change hands on 1 race. Rumor has it that a $100,000. race is on, however, the track has been rained out the last week, so I don't know if this race has taken place ! It is an awesome track, and after being stationed here going on 3 years, and running my 'Vette there most weeks twice a week, I will never run anything down that cow pasture parking lot called Holt ! Steve.
