WTF  with the warning "Warning: Even though these microwaves are about as harmful as the leakage from an ordinary microwave oven (not much), do not put computers, televisions, other sensitive electrical equipment, food, liquids, paper, glass, flammable substances, magnets, or living things in between the base and satellite units. Just in case". This defeats the whole purpose doesn't it:scratch: .

at night, you can take a regular small flourescent bulb next to a powerline tower and watch it glow. CDC is scratching their heads wondering why there is a high cancer rate in families that live in the proximity of a powerline tower. -a|ex

CDC is scratching their heads wondering why there is a high cancer rate in families that live in the proximity of a powerline tower. -a|ex Yeah, we have farmers that use to put large inductors in their barns under our lines and feed their homes with that power. We have 161kV and 500kV lines that I work on though, so the corona (not the beer) is freakin incredible. Walking out in the switchyard on a foggy day is a scary experience at the nuke plant. Everything is precisely measured now, so it is really easy to get busted by putting another load on our lines even if it isn't connected to the line. Back to the original product. That just seems like a bad idea to me. Microwaves is not a nice thing to play with, especially if you start trying to transmit large load devices.
