Hello, I have been planning a trip to france on my 125 motorcycle. Untill today i had just presumed that i could ride there and maybe to spain with my UK provisional licence and CBT. Can anyone clarify if this is possible? I spoke to the DVLA who said they didnt see a problem with this but they werent really helpfull. My insurance company says that i can ride the motorcycle in europe. Personally i dont see the problem? Can anyone help? Thanks, James B

The only difference is you must wear the helmet at all times if your state has the helmet law, and you cannot have any passengers on board with the permit.

Try checking shopshirebikes (http://www.shropshirebikes.com/php/) I think they are on your side of the pond.
