Is anyone else excited about...

Opening Day? I actually purchased the package at www.mlb.com so i can watch my RED SOX play whenever! 14.95 a month for any game that's not local. the Dodger games are blacked out online because they're considered local, but i'll be able to watch the SOX pretty much every game this year. So far they're doing real good today. All I'm sayin is CURT SCHILLING IS BACK and looking real good. Gave up a 2-run shot but looked real nice the rest of the time.

EVen though I don't watch many games, it's nice to hear baseball is back. Of course, in a couple months it'll bug me when it takes 27 MLB scores to get the NHL playoff scores... but yeah, I'm excited.

Well Papelbon was already warm. Plus he throws hot fire. Papelbon COULD be a starter. He's kinda just floating around the Pen. Foulke's performance on Monday sucked balls. I'd give Foulke a little more time. I mean in '04 the guy was the man. Wells was never really as good as a starter as Foulke is as good as a closer IMO. Wells had some good seasons but the guys reached his experation date. Now if Foulke can come back, we got Pap as a long releiver or possibly a starter (he was trained to be a starter) in case Dinardo craps the bed. We should give up on Wells and give Foulke some more time. But yeah if Foulke doesn't get better fast, sign the Rocket!

I agree with that. But I don't think Foulke is gonna get back to closing before they try to trade him. If they sign rocket then I think Pap is pretty much a lock to close. If Foulke gets back to 04 form...shoot...that would make the pen pretty damn solid.
