Tired of having to pay $0.75 - $3.00 for 411 directory assistance. Try these 800-FREE-411 800-411-SAVE 800-411-METRO The only catch is that you will have to listen to a 15 second advertisement before it gives you the number. Further, most of the time they won't connect you so you'll have to write the number down and call back. So beyond that and the air time.. its free. Just thought I'd share.

Another good way to find a phone number for free on your cell (as long as you don't pay for txt messaging) is to send a txt message to GOOGL. Just type in the name of the person or place you're looking for and its location or zip, and it will send back the results to your phone. I use it like every day. Also, if you have a web accessible phone, you can download Google Local complete with satellite imaging, and directions, and any other info you may need.
