4/4 is the ship date, most game stores won't have them til the 5th. Best Buy, CC, wal-mart and other big box stores won't have them to the 6th. Stupid video game release dates, they need to be more like movie stores and release them on the release date and not have this stupid "ship" date.

Yeah, I been playing for about 5 hours straight. It's good, it's a lot harder than GT, but that is to be expected with bikes. Turning is kinda tricky and there is so much to freakin setup. This game will eat up time like nothing I have ever seen before. It is much more of a simulation than it is a jump in and arcade race the hell out of it with your girlfriend. I can see a lot of people getting very mad at their PS2s with this one. I really like it so far though. Just won a 05 R6 in challenge. Did you not preorder and have to wait til Circuit City or Best Buy gets them tomorrow?

I gotta wait. The graphics are tight? Can you swap plastics and all that crap? Or is it, what you see is what you get? How do the exhaust's sound? Are there multiple views? Graphics are fantastic, much better than that Suzuki TT isle of man game. Depends which mode you are in your choices of plastic you get on the bike. Some modes have one scheme and some modes have 3 or 4 for one bike. I am pretty sure in career mode if you win one bike, you can change the plastic every time you race. Yes it does have multiple views, behind the bike, in the cockpit and from the front fender. Same as GT. It's pretty much just like GT as far as bike/car selection as well. You can customize 4 suits, two race gear, two street gear. You win gear as you progress and you can always change your gear. There is so much you can do in this game, I can't mention all of it unless I typed up the instruction manual. You won't believe how much control you have over how you lean in the turns. You can customize I think 4 different types of lean for your profile, but you can only pick one to race with. Some work better with high speed turn tracks and some with low speed and so on and so on. This game is pretty damn cool.

I'm sure you guys are smoking right through it, but this is my first and only game (well, besides dance dance revolution:leaving: ) that I have played. Fun:dthumb: But tough Well, it's not an arcadish game at all. It is a pure simulation. It is definitely not a mario kart, balls to the wall full throttle through the turns, pickup and be good right out of the box. However, if you are use to the GT series games, the learning curve is real smooth. Expect to work the brakes (yes there are two of them and they do make a huge difference on how you use them) as much as you do the throttle. Drewpy, I think it is a definite buy, but it depends on what type of gamer you are. This is not a casual gamer type game, it's very in depth.

Getting silvers isn't that bad, the golds I think are tougher than GT. It takes a lot to get use to the braking. You can high side the bike easy with the front brake. Blockbuster always get games like weeks after they come out.

Then some partying with friends and now :wore:ing here. It was suppose to storm friday night, so I just stayed home. However it didn't storm til late and I wasted a night of real riding to video gaming riding... I played a ton during the week after work because I don't have much to do because I live in an apt and no real housework or kids to put up with. I didn't play much today. It kinda lost it's appeal after I beat the licenses and the champ. Little too easy and getting the bikes and gear wasn't as hard fought as it was with the GT series and the money issue. I perdict I will be playing other games within the next week as I will run out of any challenge to this game. It really needed an online option and more opponents with more skill. 4 bikes is just not enough for any fun, even if I don't qualify and start from the back I am in the front with in a lap. Not to discourage anyone from playing this game, it is incredible and worth the price. I just rush through games like mad. It is better than any moto game out right now. We will have to see if Moto 360 can top it though.

My son, who recently lost his game privileges due to bad behavior, was begging to tryout my new game. I figured what the hell, he hasn't played and it'd be nice to race heads up. Well we did and for some insane reason, the time splits kept flashing just prior to a turn. It was bad enough that it's a split screen but crashing because of obstructed view, :cursin: . Yeah that time split thing makes things interesting, me and my brother were getting pissed about that.

If it lives up to it's Gran Turismo franchise, it will blow away GP. Still can't wait for GP for the 360. I need moto racing in HD! This game lives up to Gran Turismo and then some because it's got street bikes. I didn't realize they'd have old school bikes too. It's tough for a while, but with some work and license acquiring, it's incredibly addicting.

:welcome: to TWF I still haven't gotten addicted to it yet but its ridding season here and not gamming. I was addicted to this game for a week. Then I beat all the races and stopped playing. Haven't turned on my PS2 in awhile, went back to the comp gaming and XBox 360.

So I played over the weekend and still completing the licenses but I found something that absolutely pissed me off. Yeah! My son & I complained of this too. I couldn't figure out how to turn this time split off. Frustrating!!!!!

I'm still hooked, but then, I haven't beaten everything yet. Stupid exams, always getting in my way... On the upside, I found the website for the game, and it's got some cool stuff. Wallpapers, stills from the game, pretty sweet: http://www.us.playstation.com/Content/OGS/SCUS-97502/Site/

i havent been able to play it much. My son LOVES it and plays it way more than i do, doing wheelies and stoppies and occasionally turning. (Hes 3 & 1/2) fortunately i remember alot of the tracks from Gran Tourismo so the learning curve is kind to me.

Would you recomend it? Is it hard? Is it long? No pun intended... definitely difficult but the license courses actually make it a lot easier even though tidious sometimes. go to this messageboard (http://boardsus.playstation.com/playstation/board?board.id=touristtrophy)too for some help. I'm still working on it, probably 65% through the game. tinkering with the brakes also helps you drift and make corners. ~cheers

He has already beaten this game.

Got all the licenses already. I'm two series away from finishing all the races. The bike challanges are what I gotta work on. It's hard as hell to get the TZ250 RM from Yamaha in three laps.

It's hard as hell to get the TZ250 RM from Yamaha in three laps. I had a ton of trouble getting that one when I first started playing the game. I thought it was just from learning the game, I didn't realize it was just that freakin hard to get that bike. It's sad the championship series is easier than getting a freakin 250.

Yeah, i tried like four times and the closest I could get was 2 seconds. I got bored so I got some other bikes and ran some races in hopes to get it as a prize bike, but no dice. I think I'm gonna pick up the Godfather game soon.

Wondering what you guys use for suspension. I started messing around with the dampers and found that by lowering just the front, it helps with your stability. You guys got any tips or know any other good sites to check out?
