Hello there. I have a question about my home AC.
First, I'm pretty handy with tools, wires, soldering, taking things apart and ACTUALLY being able to put it back together, etc.
When my stat is set to COOL and the fan is set to AUTO, sometimes, the blower motor inside the furnace will not kick on when the compressor outside does. I know there's a delay but sometimes (and it truely is random) the blower will not come on at all. This causes the freon lines to ice over, and...well I'm sure you know. The only way I can avoid this (like I said, it's random so I have to babysit the AC) is by moving the fan setting to ON. This creates a huge waste of energy. When the stat is set to HEAT, the fan works just fine.
What can I do to fix this? I think it's a relay sticking but I'm no expert.
-Thanks!!!
Also, attached is a picture I took of the wiring diagram for the furnace. The round thing in the center towards the bottom with "EM" in the center, is the blower motor. Also, let me know if I need to blow the pic up bigger. The original pic is friggin huge, I shrunk it to keep the file size down.

Do google search with your model and problem, you will find lots of trouble shooting help. Most of parts supplyers offer free trouble shooting help.
Sounds like relay problem.

Yea, I think it's a relay as well. Google it is.

Sometimes if you go to a heating & cooling parts counter and tell them the problem they may be able to help. The parts counter...not the service counter.

The parts counter...not the service counter.
The service counter can help set an appointment for a technician.

 Yea, pretty much. I found the problem, just need to go get me one. It's the time delay relay for the blower motor goin south. I found out that they go bad pretty frequently. They're only bout 30-40 bucks. Cheaper than payina tech to come out and tell me that my time delay relay, flux capacitor, and rear differential all need replacing.
