I hate it I pull up to a light... and they stop about 3 feet from my rear tire... so I kinda walk my bike forward abit after taking a good long look in the mirror so they know it's because of them... and THEY ROLL FORWARD TOO!... :cursin:

now this would be sweet to back them up! cept for the damage the paint and ****...

ebbs... turn around and look at them...don't use your mirrors.... and if they continue cause you're at a long/many stops stop light.... get off the bike and "mention" to them about your discomfort!

I can think of a few ways to "MENTION" it to them... but i think the look on their faces would be priceless with a flame roasting their hood! :BAHA:

That's crazy. I can remember many, many years ago there was a similar theft deterent idea some company installed on a car. It would shoot flames up from underneath on each side while the assailant attempted to pick the door locks.

Yea that may work but some people suffer from some serious Road Rage :yikes: and you may get your block knocked off :bash:

Here in the UK, you can be pretty sure that nobody has a gun, which makes a difference. Most car drivers here are very sure of themselves so long as they are not being addressed in person.

So when some guy in full armour and a helmet leans over and taps on their window, or catches their eye when they know they've done something stupid you can often see them jump in shock.

I've not had occasion to do it very often, but just once in a blue moon I have found that a brief rap of an armoured glove on their side window together with a 'what-the-***k-are-you-playing-at' kind of gesture more than has the desired effect.

Also, even if it does get physical, you're wearing full protective kit right? :-)

I'd rather wait till we're moving then put a nice size 11.5 dent in their door... getting off the bike is a good way to end up UNDER THE CAR

i never had that problem, i get tons of space, but then again, my pipe is a open 4-1:crazy: they tend to roll up their windows too...

 Thats Awesome!!! i need me one of those...we get the gaters down here too, i do actually turn around and look at them, just to make sure that they know that I am watching them and they better back the **** off, of course I am also the person that will roll back in my car if people get too close, just to make a point...i dont need the room so much as I feel it is way uncalled for!!

but in defense of those who are respectful, it always makes me laugh when people are so nervous about being around a bike that they stay like 50 feet away!! then I have to really work to convince them it is okay to move forward to they can set off the traffic signal for me!!! It always happens at traffic lights!

Yeah what are they going to do... I'm in leathers and a helmet with gloves (that have knuckle protectors), with steel toed shoes.... and don't make me take my helmet off and use it on your melon.... besides, it wouldn't be the first time I bashed out a car window!

Damn hahah.... that would suck to be behind right there...

I was on the Turnpike this morning and I was behind a 3rd gen RX7... When it would let off the gas and decel, a 3 foot flame would just burn out the back. It smelled like a burning bumper. I kept my distance none-the-less

Haha. I've had to do that one, too. Turn all the way around, make eye contact and give them hand signals to come forward. The whole time they're looking at you like "WTF?!".
