David Sadowski - Fired?

I saw something on www.superbikeplanet.com today that suggested that he's been let go from Speed Channel. Anyone hear anything? 'Ski was always my favorite announcer.

just saw the same thing on motorcycle-usa.. RoadRacingWorld.com is reporting that Ski was fired after a few drunken incidents with police: "...Sadowski was fired following incidents involving alcohol and the police at Brainerd and Mid-Ohio. In one incident, Manhart said, a drunken Sadowski demanded of police, "Don't you know who I am? I work for SPEED!..." Dave Sadowski's AMA Roadracing announcer role will be filled by former World Champ. 'Fast Freddie Spencer'.

Damn. Not good. Well maybe it is. Maybe he is happy about it and now will get picked up by someone else and we will see him again soon. Or maybe not.
