my wife and i are expecting our first child next month. july 3rd .this being said .i was just kidding around a couple days ago and told my mom outlaw i was going to get the baby a lid so she could ride with me this biketober fest. man you should have seen the smoke roling out of her ears .she told me that no woman has ever riden solo in her family and that my wife had beter never even thinck about it.what the h### . would you agree with her? i dont :wbs: :help:

as long as your wife is free, white and over 21 it doesn't matter what dear ol' mom thinks. she can make her own decision. but being a mother myself, i can understand that she wants to keep her baby and grandbaby outta harm's way. that's what mothers do. unfortunately, we don't always get to make all the decisions for our children. just chalk it up to her being the mother bear protecting her cubs.

Don't go down without a fight:luck: , but once the baby is born, it will be time to give birth to a BIKE
the real question is...does your wife want to ride a bike?? If so, hell ya get her one...if not, dont worry about it, when your lil angel is old enough to ride with you, take her out, and if she wants one just like daddy, you do what YOU want, it sounds like your MIL did not create, plan to give birth, or will be raising your child...
