Hey guys and girls, I have been lurking on here for a few days now, and I like what I see. I just picked up a 2003 Katana 750 for $3,300.00 with only 4,700 miles on it.It has never been down and has no hop ups on it (it was owned by a motorcycle cop) I feel that it is a good deal. Any way I raced motocross and ATV's for 5-6 years back in my late teens and early 20's and I still take the quads to Glamis 6-8 times a year. My father owned harleys and I would go on some of there rides with them. So I am rusty but not a complete newbie. My main reason for buying my bike is that my best friend got a wild hair up his ass and called me to pick up his car from the suzuki dealer. he baught a 750 GSXR 06' he has a lot less experience than I but he has some.
Well thats about all I have to say for now give me time and you will hear more fro me I am sure.
If anyone is from So California hit me up and we can ride some time.

O.K. So this is how the story goes, I drive 150 mile to San Diego with my buddy following me on his gsxr. I get to the guys house and the Kan-o-tuna is sweet everything on the bike is in perfect shape it looks brand new. Rides like new but very weak. Like I said I am not a new rider just a little rusty. But I give him the cash and ride the bike a few miles go to in-in-out burger. Eat a burger and the bike acts like it wont start. I bump start it and get on the freeway get in the fast lane and it dies a mile down the road no electrical. I call the guy and told him to bring me back my money. He does and is very sorry. He calls me back to say that he did not have the battery tight.
I get home go to the bank and pull a few more G's out grab a cycletrader and found a 2003 Yahmaha R6 with a MIG full pipe, fender eleminator, custome seat, lots of carbon fiber and a few other cool little odds and ends with 2700 miles on it for $5,000.00.
I am much better off with this bike. And I am very happy. i WILL POST SOME PICKS SOON:dthumb:
