Like the FZ-1 big time man!
A couple of years ago they had Silver on silver which looked real sharp! Most recent years they have painted the engine black.

Love my bike...never had any problems mentioned above.
Everyone on a popular FZ6 forum feels the same...no complaints except for TPS issue from 04's and some 05's.
It is the swiss army knife they advertise it to be...very powerful with RPM's.

Idle can be adjusted with the gold screw you see when seated, under the left side frame.

On the new FZ6...... Does it have a rear brake control? Or does it engage the front and rear brakes at the same time when you pull the brake lever??? I sat on a FZ6 and I really liked it but did not notice a rear brake control

Maybe they forgot it on that bike. They forgot the flux capacitor on mine but it still goes fast.

I bought my 01 fz1 after trading in my vstar crusier. i absolutly love it. i like the naked look, but i still like the look of fairings. just less to damage if and when you dump it, ha. i knew my bike was confortable(ride 80 miles on the freeway before i got numb) but i didnt know by how much till i rode my friends cbr across town the other day. i was numb by the time i got to the other side of town.

as for my bike, i dont have much to compare it to as far as sport bikes go, but if i trade it, it will be for a new fz with fuel injection. i like the more upright stance.. being that im 6'5 and really keeps back pain to a low. i have blue on silver.

I love my Fz6

I have a 2007 FZ6 and absolutely love it. No buzziness at all, extremely comfortable, very fast, awesome handling, great at lower rpm's, makes for perfect commuter and can still keep up in the twisties with the guys on their R6's.

is the fz6 goign to be considered in the standerd class or the sportsbike class. Im wondering this becuase of insurence. I think it would be in the standerd class due to the sv650 being in that class.
