Scenery Pics
After seeing somebodies Highlight of my day thread I was thinking I had some nice pics from a plane.
From a plane is one of the best places to take some cool pics...
Hopefully this thread can break up the monoanity (sp?) of all the political threads...ENJOY!!!

Sweeeeet! Here's a question someone might know the answer to. Let's say I have a digital pic that I want made into a LARGE picture. Any thoughts on where I'd got to get that done, or an online business that does that sort of thing.
For instance, let's say I wanted to make one of those sunset pics into art for my living room wall. Where do I go?

oh man, I would imagine a local printing shop would be the first place to start, maybe even a local art store might have some ideas on how to blow it up for you.

Most of your Rite Aid/Meijer/CVS' or any place that has one of those Kodak things can print off a good sized pic for you. They can take in digital and/or paper pics...

Your digital pic has to have a high resolution. If you have it on a card, you can take it to just about and photo developer. However, if it's just a regular jpg, etc, you're SOL unfortunately.

Man, I miss Silver lake big time. I used to take my quadzilla there all the time... party down at night.. ride dunes all day...
but then again I traded that for my first bike, so I can't complain too much

www.shutterfly.com does an excellent job of printing pics into posters. We got two of our Hawaii pics printed there, for poster/wall mounting purposes. The quality was awesome. They also print the typical picture size photos, and when I'm ready to do some scrapbooking I will have more pics printed by them. They have specials often, so check back frequently. Simply upload pics to their site, and choose which ones you want printed and what size.
On to the pics... here are a few from my Hawaii trip:

I love the dunes...they rock!! I took my stock 4x4 ranger there and it did really well. Yep, it took Test Hill like a champ, so it's all good.
Here's some pics of me in my Ranger and a pic of a school bus!!!
The last pic was looking down from Test Hill
For those of you that don't know...Test Hill is the biggest hill at Silver Lake. When you get to the bottom of the hill you have to nail the throttle to the floor and back off right before the top. Too soon and you don't make it up. Too late and you go soaring over the top and it hurts!!!

Here's a pic of the Ranger makin it to the top!! Believe me I got the pedal to the floor in some 4x4 action...
Then after you make it up Test Hill you go over some nice hills and then over Drop off cliff...I went over that and it was amazing...nuttin like blowin over the top of a sand hill and get totally air born in a truck!!
The best thing about test hill and drop off cliff...you are heading toward the hill and you see nuttin but sand...then you hit the hill and see nuttin but sky, go over the top and you see nuttin but sand!!
Pic 4 & 5 gives you a better idea of how high test hill is..
