how do you clean your mesh jackets?

i have a yamaha mesh jacket. theres white on the jacket and its geting dirty. i read the directions and it says handwash. no machine wash, no dry cleaning, and do not soak. i can take the armor our but theres still padding thats gonna have to be left in. my question is, would machine wash really hurt the jacket even if its on gentle cycle?
how do you guys clean your jackets?
i would post pictures of my jacket to show you but i forget how to post it on here.

Don't remember what the instructions on my mesh jackets says,
but i just took the warm lining and armor out and threw it in the washing machine and dryer.

mines a Icon Hooligan mesh. hope that helps.

i can take the armor out but it still has that padding that sewn in the jacket. is that still ok?

I've washed our JR meshies a few times with no problem. I remove all of the armour, wash it in the washing machine on gentle cycle, with cold water. I've used regular detergent, or Woolite, and both worked fine.

Hang dry, not in direct sunlight or a heat source (so it doesn't shrink). Once dry, put the armour back in. Poof... clean, fresh jacket!
