In the early 70's, my friend had the Norton 850 Interstate in black. It was the most beautiful bike I've ever seen. Unfortunately, he crashed it and still walks with a limp. Also in the early 70's, the motorcycle mags would have a full color ad for Norton featuring a very foxy "Norton girl" in the ad. I'll see if I can find one of my old magazines.
