No, it is not my first bike. It is my first sports bike.

I still have a BMW f650 and before that a Suzuki GSX 750. I started with a Suzuki GS400.

My buddy has the graphite grey one....he just put a Jardine slip on on it. I'll hear it tomorrow when we ride...

Actually I had to bail on the ride....had to plant grass seed in my front yard....the joys of owning a home.

tell me aobut it, i am missing rides to put stone pavers in my back yard and remodel the bathroom.

and that Jardine on the 675 sounds AWESOME!!!! I LOVE the sound of the triple with exhaust. I know my next bike is down to this or the V4 aprilia(if i can afford it when i replace) the 675 would leave me with no ill feelings downsizing a lot of cc's

I was eating at a restaurant which happened to be next door to to the Austin Triupmh dealer. I stopped in after eating and found they were closed, but a customer was leaving on his 675 so I was able to chat with him.

He was in the Air Force (i'm Army) so I guess he felt comfortable letting me sit on his bike and start her up. OMG that bike sounds SICK...the whine is so sexy. The seat is fairly high up....I'd say a solid inch or so above the Japanese bikes. Not uncomfortable....just high. I'm 5'11 and had no problems getting my feet on the ground..but they were pretty straight...no bent knees. The seat was also VERY firm and narrow.

Overall a sick bike with slick styling and a tad on the small side.
