Dash Trim Panels issues (Sprint)

Dash Trim Panels issues

Both right and left COCKPIT standoffs have broken off. Thus both right and left Dash Trim Panels have cracked and detached from the COCKPIT.

I am told from my local dealer that this happens quite often. The sun and heat makes the COCKPIT standoffs brittle and they break.

I have new right and left Dash Trim Panels but I am trying to figure out a way to reattach the stand offs. I have a product called Q-bond they the forum has said works great.

I also have only 1 stand off.

I am looking for ideas of what I can use for stand offs. Also any tricks to holding it in place while the Q-bond dries. I am thinking maybe tooth picks thru the Trim Panels to hold them in correct place.

Always Pay it Forward!
