1st 675 rolled out of my dealer a few days ago

and the dealer called all of the other people on the waiting list to come out and see the bike. The new owner took delivery and about 8 guys watched in envy as he fired it up and rolled off into the sunset......

I didn't read the article, but a bud told me of a recent test and the only thing that the bike was somewhat dinged on was that the shifter / trans was "notchy" (?)

It's also been fun to see a few more Triumph air cooled parallel twins rolling around So. CA in chopper / bobber form.

I bet those were some very excited people with long sad faces shortly after.

I probably would go to meet and see the new owner off too.

My bud had a deposit on a 675 and was planning on making it a track bike. (He's on a Tiger right now....I don't know WHY...)

Due to family priorities w/ the money, he has to give up the new bike.

Bummer.

I'm sure someone will take his place on the waiting list though.

Sport Rider has a nice article about the 675. They got a test ride. Sounds like a real solid bike...makes me want it even more.
