BRAG Refund!

I got a nice surprise in the mail today. Buell is disbanding the Buell Riders' Adventure Group (BRAG) and (I believe) merging their activities with the H-D HOG club. I saw in the last issue of Fuell that they were sending refunds for dues to members. I thought that only applied to people who bought lifetime memberships, while my membership was just a freebie 1-year trial that was included with the bike purchase. Well, despite that and the fact that I basically robbed my bike from H-D, they sent me a check for $90, which is almost enough to cover track fees at my local track. Nice.

I doubt buell we be included with HOG. Most HD owners hate buell. Most HD shops hate buell. Most HD showrooms have completely dropped Buell, and if they didn't, they got rid of the BUell sign out front so as not to piss off their HD customers. Buell has gotten what they needed out of HD, now it is time that they should go out on their own. They won;t get much better under the wing of HD, being forced to stick those ancient ass air cooled vtwins in to a high tech everything else. I would like to see what Erik Buell could do with a real motor.
