I think from the side it looks great, but from the front it looks like the XBRR and a SV650 had a child. Dont like the front at all.

for Buell though!

And it's official. That bike is absolutely hideous... That exhaust looks like something that should be hanging off an old biplane... The radiator shrouds look like somebody accidentally glued half of their helmet to each side... Terrible.

That looks so money... cash money yo.

VERY glad to see they got rid of the goldish colored pipes... I hope whoever had the original idea to do the pipes in that color was swiftly kicked directly in the gnads and immediately fired. When I say fired, I didn't mean from work... I mean literally lit on fire.

I'm actually not into the white. I admit it looks good...but I'd rather have the red on black.

Funny thing is- that rear shock is mounted the same as my 650R!

Steel braided lines front and rear and a wicked rear caliper setup. They definitely need to scale down those air scoops though. And the headlights

Heh... Going to the liquid cooled engine is the beginning of ruining these bikes for me... I like the retard simple nature of the Buells...
Well, although the air-cooled engines were simple. They were the factor that kept many people from buying them as I ask around.

For instance, interstate riding is a huge factor for me. Near my cabin is a long well maintained interstate called M28 with tons of scenery. I visit my cabin about two to three times a year depending on some factors. I couldn't imagine taking an air cooled twin for a 4 hour cruise without it getting hot and getting way too rich. The heat coming from those air cooled engines on a 90 degree day also don't feel too good...

The problem with the new bike for me is, now that it's a DOHC and has been tuned for racing, I doubt I could make it a starter bike. I'm still thinking about it though because everyone on my dirt bike forums stressed that a 125 2 stroke geared high is such a devilish monster and the front wheel gets way too light and that I'll kill myself on my RM125...yet when I rode it it seemed tame to me, I handled it just fine..so we'll see.

man i logged into the buell site hoping for some exclusive specs, prices or something but just seen a few extra pics and vids.

i really like the bike but that front needs some 'adjusting' also i think id give it a year or two for the bugs to get worked out since its a totally new design.

still think its badass though

The air cooled 1203's as well as the new 1125 are nothing close to a starter bike...bad idea.

I understand your concern, if it were most peoples choice I'd be riding on a Buell Blast for 12,000+ miles until I could even step up to a Ninja 500. I know everyone is just trying to look out for the well being and safety of others but I think people tend to exaggerate the OHV liter V-Twins power....alot.

Lately I've been getting alot of ride time on our three dirt bikes here. A 125 2 stroke, a 250 2 stroke, and my 200 4 stroke...when it works. Everyone told me I can't handle the 2 strokes, that they're potential death machines even idling and that if I get on it it will be 100% guaranteed pure death....

Then as I was frustrated at my broken 4 stroke I got on my fathers racing geared Suzuki 125 2 stroke...and after 2 hours of slow familiarization with the bikes handling, clutch, and gears, I was ready for a cruise... All I could think about the entire time was "Man, forum go'ers kinda uhm...exaggerate power...alot"

I would never buy a liter I-4, but if I want a Buell and they only make big v-twin's I'm not going to settle for a moped and be unsatisfied for years to come.
