Same as the normal brake setup... Just stopping the tranny's output shaft instead of the rear wheel... Since it's all connected, it's all the same...

It also comes in handy if you get a little dog poo on the inside of your boot... note the proximity with the rearset... just put your foot forward and stick your toe in... wahla! clean as a whistle... Now you just have poop on your bike.

that thing is friggin' sick! ANd with OSP... the drive brake is sweet and badass because it is exposed. (kinda like the exposed primaries are viewed as hardcore for choppers/cruisers.... minus the gheyness)

I've seen that style rear brake on several custom jobs...needs a cover.

Actually- a jake brake is more like a cut-out on a turbo isn't it?

Yes, it is a exhaust valve that closes and therefore slows the motor alot more than just standard engine brake.

One of those bad boys is more than enough (up front) for any bike! What they should do is put one on the rear too.

Heck no it doesnt! That is the most AWESOME looking thing EVER! And talk about stopping power out the wazzoo. Yeah yeah reduce rotating mass, but if your going for looks WHO CARES he advanced his purpose. it doesnt weight that much, and when you have a whimp lil motor like that maby you need to. (Not hatin on buells, you got more touque than I would know what to do with) But stick that setup on a Busa, or 14R. I cant wait till there patent runs out and all the companies will start using it. I just think that design concept is sweet!
