[Press release] STREET STUNT CHAMPION CHRIS “TEACH” MCNEIL JOINS TEAM SHIFT

Hey guys, our friends at Shift sent over this Press Release and I thought I'd share:

Quote:
Morgan Hill, CA. – Shift Racing is excited to announce the sponsorship of top street stunt rider Chris “Teach” McNeil for the 2007 season.

A native of New England, “Teach” gets his nickname from being a full time middle school Latin teacher during the week. But on the weekends, Chris leaves the books at home and battles for victory at the biggest street stunt events in the world.

Last year, Chris destroyed the competition at all of the top events and is looking to do the same in 2007, combined with numerous exhibitions in the US, Canada and even Tokyo.

Besides his incredible stunt skills, Chris is also an accomplished expert level roadracer and loves to get his knee down at track days whenever he has a break in his busy schedule.

Brett Nicholas – Shift Brand Manager“Teach is an incredible rider and his commitment to riding excellence and the respect that he has in the industry made him the obvious choice to represent the SHIFT brand. We’re looking forward to tearing it up together in 2007 and beyond”

Chris “Teach” McNeil
“I'm very excited to be a part of Team Shift for the 2007 season. The attitude at Shift is aggressive and unique; and the product line reflects a strong commitment to excellence. The opportunities for myself and Shift are abundant and I'm looking forward to contributing to Shift's winning ways.”

Chris McNeil’s 2006 Results
1st place – Tokyo Invitational
1st place – XDL East Championship
1st place – Motorcycle Mayhem Challenge
1st place – Stuntoberfest

Keep your eyes open for updates on “Teach” at www.shiftracing.com and make sure you also check out his website at www.teachtrix.net to see him in action for yourself.
