I don't call someone a stunter, if someone can ride they are a rider. Either you can or you can't. There is no in between, unless you are just the casual rider. So I guess that's what I was trying to say. Stunter to me means poser. However a lot of my friends would rather stunt then ride on the tracks and that is fine, they are good at both and they enjoy the sport. They practice in a controlled environment too. So I consider them riders. They also don't post vids on youtube for their sweet squid club.

so your saying that you wouldnt want to try to push to score a sponsor? to get free or discounted shwag for your ride? i dunno bout you but back when i used to be younger and pretty decent at skateboarding i was trying to get as much video footage as possible in hopes of getting a deal. its kind of the same with stunting and damn near any sport. plus youtube is just a place people post up the videos or video clips to share with people in order to recognize the sport of either stunting or racing or a combo of both... stunters i highly doubt are posers. i dunno i just say F\_/Ck designations just do the damn thing.

I think stunters are just as far away from being posers as AMA or Moto GP riders... they're DOING something on their bike.

Posers just have their bike to look cool... and usually don't have the balls or ability to wheelie or even ride their bikes around a parking lot.

exactly! as long as they're doing it in a closed course... same goes for track riders... they're all riders to me... as long as they RIDE! which obviously keeps out posers by definition.

I just don't label people stunters. I have a lot of friends that stunt, everyone does the occasional pull up to show off for some friends or the crowd, but I consider "true stunters" riders just like everyone else. However posting vids of crowds of 60+ bikers riding down crowded streets in the inner city is queer to me. Those are the same guys who chill at the local mickey d's and brag about clutching wheelies on 1000's.

He was talking about how people try to earn street cred by posting vids on youtube. Most of the vids are 60+ bikers stunting down crowded streets.

so you refer to yourself in third person? truthfully from my background bein a skater i would do a ***** ton of tricks all over the streets because at parks its kind of crowded and you cant always get the right angle. hell some wouldnt even allow cameras which was pretty lame. so in stunt riding im assuming that doing it in a parking lot or whatever is the equivilent. now goin down the road well i guess when they are doin power up wheelies i dunno. but they still arent posers because they are actually doing the **** not just claiming they can do it. which in terms is what a real poser is....

speaking of posers..

a guy that rides here in town.. well not even rides..

This is how he rides.. When ever he does go out:
No shirt, No lid, No Gloves, Sandles, Swim trunks.. on a r1..

only time he will go riding.. is if it's to pick up a girl.. on the times he goes riding with out girls it's for about 3 miles.. and back to his house..

Those people.. need to get rid of there bikes.. so some one can use them.

If you ride for 3 miles.. and then park the bike for a week.. go buy a cage..

I tell you.. every time he askes me to go ride.. i laugh at him and ask him roomate to go ride.. cause atleast he is willing to go up the mntin or the next city over..

Im mean jesus.. if your going to have a ****ing bike.. ride the ****ing thing..
