Good rider to be good stunter?
I've watched like three stunting videos that I have:
1. X.G.B - X-Factor's Greatest Bits
2. Reasonable Doubt - Street Bike Stunts
3. Street Anarchy
They are all pretty good but the question is, do you think that it takes a good rider to be a good stunter? and vice versa?
Or do you think that it just takes an idiot to do the stunts that you see on the videos and stuff like that?
**My Personal Opinion**
I don't think that I've seen like any SBK Professional rider do anything but maybe a wheelie, stoppie (occasionally) and a burnout. But in my opinion, the amount of damage that is done to these bikes be it when the people mess up or are practicing is kinda ludicrous. I have respect for the machines and their power and I don't think that I can bring myself to do what I see on the videos no matter how experienced I get. Now, maybe with like an old bike that I don't care about or like a Buell, that'd be fine. But not like a brand new bike or a bike I care about.
I also know some people who can "stunt" but then they also tell me that they won't do the things that like SBK Pro riders do because "that's just nuts, corners at like 200+!" They say that you just need big cohonas (sp?) to do the "stunting" but it takes talent, skill and coordination to do the stuff that SBK Pro riders do.
