I always smoke out the end of the tire before I go get the new one. What sucks about my R1 is its got the silver tire hugger, and the undertail is painted silver to match the bike...its not black plastic like the SV was...so I will have to decide if I wanna burn off the last of the D208.

Cut out a piece of cardboard and tape it on the undertail... it will help and if you do a good job you won't see it from the front if you roll video!

Good idea! But I still have the tire hugger that sits rights above the tire and I don't think I can fit card board under that. Maybe I will just take that off since it's only 4 screws holding it on. Then I will put it back on when I get the new tires.

My dad's craftsman is an auto, but if I hold in the clutch/brake and have the throttle all the way up, and keep my hand down on the speed stick and pop the clutch/brake I can get the front end up pretty high and ride it out a little. The last time I tried it my dad came home from work and saw me and his tractor up on two wheels....and let's just say I got a hella bitchin!

I was suppose to be cutting the grass before my dad got home, but that didn't get accomplished because I was too busy popping the front end up, then once I got caught by my dad, he told me to get the hell off his tractor, and not to touch it again.

SHE WAS IN THE LIVING ROOM LOOKING OUT THE WINDOW SHE SAID" I HEARD YOU COMING AND I SEEN YOUR HEADLIGHT IN THE TREE'S WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU THINKING!" IT WAS KINDA FUNNY. I WAS JUST LEARNING HOW TO SHIFT INTO 3RD IN THE AIR AND I HAD A LITTLE TOO MUCH THROTTLE AND I WAS WAYYYY UP IN THE AIR WHEN SHE SAW ME

The first time I got busted doing a wheelie on my bike by my parents was when I was following my parents on their cruiser on some back roads, and I hung back for a few and just rode a wheelie down the street. My dad pulled over later on, and my mom and dad said, "Son, did I just see that front end up in the air?" I just laughed and said ahhh yup! They think I am going to get hurt or something.
Then last year my dad on his cruiser, older bro on his SV650s, and I on my SV650 went on a cruise, and I get in the left lane and pass my bro and dad on one wheel. My older bro just gives me the finger while I passed him. He gets so jealous because he can't ride out a nice wheelie. He acts like his bike won't do it...yet when I got on it I rode a really nice one on it.

Nice pics there... I love that color on the 636... its sweet...

Do those 636's come with Akrapovic undertail carbon fiber exhaust? I was at a local dealer and it had one on there on the '06 model, I Was wondering if thats how they came, or thats what they threw on it...

It must have been a dealer added option, and or used. Most kawi dealers are going to throw a Muzzy on there.

True... I thought that Akrapovic was a perfect fit... it was the hexagonal and it ended right past the tail-lights, so it wasn't like hanging out the back all weird looking... very sweet setup. I fell in love with the 636 that day. Especially in that titanium colour... SWEET!
