Question for the lady riders...

Hello I'm new to this forum, and street biking in general, and I was just wondering if there's any ladies who started street biking after dirtbiking, as I will be...just wondering if having the experience on 2wheels made it any easier on the streets???

Dirtbike riding will help with balance but that's about it... at least my

Other than that the reality of riding on pavement vs dirt is like night and day!

I'm going agree with GM. Riding street and riding dirt are two different things. But in some ways you have a leg up. You know how to balance, not crank on the throttle etc. Just remember, in a turn DON'T put your foot down! ha!

oh and BTW what type of bike are you looking into? What year? Make? Model? and have you taken the MSF course?

Hahahahah I'll have to remember that about the leg..lol but I like mine so I'm sure I'll keep them properly positioned lol

I'm signed up for the course the next one they had available wasn't till the end of this month but that's okay I'm in no hurry I don't have a bike of my own right now anyways...

When I do buy one (hopefully once I'm through the course) I'm a little unsure of what to look for seeing as how the odds of me buying one brand new are slim.. I have to go out and sit on LOTS of them to see what fits best, but I was thinking about an r6...
