Trixie Leathers...

Okay, guys, this is in the ladies section...dont be silly...that said...

I am looking to get the JR Trixie Leathers, they look to be what I want but do any of you ladies have a set or can give me any info on them firsthand? Or any suggestions for something along the following lines...

I want a 2 piece set and I want something that will protect me but also look good. What do ya'll think??

I don't have any, but JR makes a quality product, and from the girlie standpoint, I like the styling. If they came in something other than pastels I'm be all over them. Personally I steer away from all black (visibility issue) and can't stand pastels.

But I'm with jeeps... specially the styling of the pants

they make them in several other colors, but my preference will be black...like jeeps said, black/pink CBR gotta match!! and I am ready to go back to my black gear as it gets cooler, i love my white mesh, but it get dirty easily!!

A* makes a two piece also for comparison shopping. I do like the styling of the JR better though... No, let me re-state that... I like the JR Pants MUCH, MUCH better.
Here's the A*

Actually at kneedraggers you can only get black, pink, or baby blue. I want red... Bright red.

what kinda boots do you wear? the JR trixie looks like the pants go over the boot, while the a* pucky shared tucks in. guess it depends how you plan on using them. if i were taking it to the track i'd wanna tuck in. if it was just for everyday riding, then the trixie is the answer. i like them both, but i am partial to the lotus flowers on the JR. it's a nice design. if they made those in blue to match my bike (instead of pastel blue) i'd have saved a few hundred $$'s and went with that over the a*. it's a much more flattering feminine cut than my a* are. that's why i think i feel fat in them. they aren't shaped like a woman.

thats why i dont want a 1 piece suit!! i still want to look like a woman darn it!!! I dont know what boots I will get when I get the leathers, but I def prefer to have pants over boot, i dont like tucking my pants in!! I also wear really tall leather boots now, almost knee height, and they probably wouldnt look strange on a Harley while they still look good on my bike!

I've got some decent pants already. I'll shop around for a perf'd leather jacket, for next summer, and I already have a textile with nice liner for colder weather... and I'm just going to buy a 1 piece for track days. gotta save my though.

The Trixie write up says the jacket has both 360 and 8" zippers.

But the pants only have the 8" so they do zip, but if you want to run a track day, you'll need to get the 360 sewn into the pants... The jacket should come with both halves, and any leather shop can install the bottom half for you.
