Any ya'll Wear...

Hey ya'll, does anyone wear SIDI boots? I found a killer deal but its online and I dont have a place around here who sells them...

are they pretty true on the sizing??

I can wear a 6.5 up to a 7.5 and the pair I found are 7.5...i figure since I wear heels and dress shoes in a 6.5-7 a 7.5 with athletic socks should be just right...

and as for quality...what am i looking at?

any helpful input?

Join the club (the No-one-anywhere-near-me-carries-or-even-orders-SIDI-boots-dammit club )

From what I hear, SIDI's run narrow and a bit tight, so if you don't have narrow feet, you might want to order up a size. I have heard they're VERY STIFF, and take a while to break in, but are well worth it, as they're a superior quality boot, and offer great protection.

There is a dealer by me that carries some SIDI boots but I haven't found any in a 37 this off season to compare fit.

thats good then, I have VERY VERY narrow feet with high arches... dont mind breaking them in, but they are slightly used maybe it wont be so tuff, from what I can tell, they were barely worn, there isnt even any scuffing on the soles...

I recently bought some Sidi Vertebra boots on EBay from Newenough. For what little I've worn them (it's winter here), they're great. Sizing was a piece of cake for me, since I have a pair of Sidi mountain bike shoes. I just bought the same size and am good to go!

The fit & finish are very nice; they seem to offer top notch protection. Like mentioned above, they're a little stiff at first. However, they're worlds above those blasted Icon Field Armor boots I tried out (those things were horridly stiff and way too big to work my foot controls).

I own a pair of 46's and typically wear a size 11 gym shoe. IIRC, that's a half size larger in order. Note also that I have very wide feet but don't have any issues with Sidi's so I've never really understood the claim about them being for narrow feet (heard that more times than just around here).

Could be something limited to the women's boots.
