After that she went to one of the guys and started asking about it. She still has to have one of the guys to come over and tell a guy who wants to buy a bike about the bike.
I stole this quote from the "Arrrrrrrgggghhhhhh" thread. I wanted to rant about this a teeny bit more.
I used to own a skateboard shop. This guy comes in and asked one of my
male employees about trucks, the bearings, the deck, etc. My employee was still in training and didn't know much about skateboards only BMX bikes, so I answered this guy's questions. Each time he asked a question, he looked at my employee, and my employee would turn to me for the answer. Even though I answered each question (probably about 20 or so), in the end this guy said to my employee, "Thanks, man. You really helped me out a lot." The guy never even bothered to acknowledge my presence.
Also, when I went to buy a new cell phone, a male friend of mine went with. The male sales guy ignored the fact I was purchasing the phone and only made eye contact with my friend when speaking.
I find
some not all guys and girls do the same thing with bikes. Although admittedly, my knowledge of bikes is not that vast...yet. Any of ya'll have the same experience?
