TrackXperience @ WSIR Sun 8/13 - 2 groups, $195

got this info from the scs forums, good to share
************************************************** *****

Cal-Sportbike TrackXperience is coming to Willow Springs (2.5mi big track) for an open lapping track day event on Sunday, August 13th (No school or tracstar certification).

EXPERIENCE THE DIFFERENCE: Longer sessions means more track time, uncrowded track means BETTER quality lapping experience, and low-key approach by our professional staff will make you feel comfortable right away. Good food, good friends, good times...

ABOUT OPEN LAPPING: Free ride for yourself with our staff out there to make sure everyone plays nice and respects your safety! Get personal coaching as needed to build your skills! And remember, while racers are welcome, we're an easygoing bunch with a broad range of speed/skill, so no close "race passes" are tolerated. We can all be fast AND courteous and have a great time!

GROUPS: For this open lapping event, L1 is novice to mid-intermediate, L2 is upper intermediate to advanced.

AMENITIES: We provide a full catered hot buffet breakfast with Starbucks coffee, and a full catered buffet lunch. We also deliver chilled bottled water and Gatorade to each pit during the day.

There is NO TIRE SERVICE at this Willow Springs event. Tige Daane and James Morse of Cyclemall.net will be on hand providing suspension tuning services and Brian from Caliphotography.com will be providing photographic services!

PRICE: The ticket price is $195 per rider and includes all meals and beverage service. You get a better experience with more track time, less crowds, and better amenities.

Register online at http://www.trackXperience.com or by calling (800) 930-8520 x81!

I'm going to try, Jay. What level will you be riding? If I can swing a back protector, I think I'll go at level 2.

what are you riding, I'll be riding my Honda 919 can't miss it, as it will be the only Naked bike with a twin headlamp set up ... if I see you I'll stop by and say Hi!

As for my track bike, I haven't had time to fix it, it's a 2001 GSXR 600,
it want to Cut out on my while acellerating, I've replaced the fuel pump, and it still does the same thing, but I also notice after replacing the fuel pump it's getting worst, it dyed on my and wouldn't restart the starter wouldn't crank over and I couldn't hear the fuel pump run either... I waited and hour and a half and then it started up... anyway I'll do my best to get it running before my labor day track event at Willow Springs!

I miised ya, Jay. I was there til about 1:45pm then had to head home. I saw a couple of different people in street gear riding by on BLACK Honda's. Were one of them you? If we have the opportunity again, just look for the "Jesus" bike,

As for the stalling issue with the new fuel filter............sounds to me like it was flooded. I "used" to know about these things when I was younger with more grease on my hands, but I grew older with more responsibility..............(good & bad thing at the same time, ) Anyone else know of another reason his bike would stall like that?

I missed the Labor Day Free Track Day Raffle by 4 numbers......lol, maybe next time.

Up for CA Speedway anytime soon?
