Question about "Hotbodies" & the track

So, I was reading through the "mods & aftermarket" forum & I found that EVERYONE feels the same way that I do about Hotbodies products. Unfortunatley, I joined the forums too late.

My question is, "Am I going to have to worry about heat or insects or anything on the track damaging the already cracked & deformed junk I sunk my money into before joining TWF"?

No sh*t huh? That bad. Do you think they would be better if you painted them? Or did you paint them white? White night.

Yea..........I painted those & my stock skins to match. However, I don't mind the time lost from painting due to the poor craftsmanship of Hotbodies.......it is my first paint job & I learned a lot. If you buy them & want to paint them go with rattle cans. The quality of the paint job won't matter. (sigh)

If I ever get track plastics, it's Krylon all the way! So is the structure gone or is there just a lot of pits and what not? Are they gonna last?

The pits are a given........the upper was molded too wide which made it buldge & crack where it meets the center of the windscdreen. The lower was also molded too wide which made it buldge underneath giving me less clearance (unloading the bike scratched it up pretty bad) & did't fit properly with the upper. The tail just can't handle ANY pressure whatsoever & cracked halfway up the section. The fender? forget it! I refused to even fill the pits. This thing was warped beyond belief!
