Anyone in Michigan intersted in track day at Grattan

I am currently trying to get together twenty riders to do a track day at Grattan Raceway in Belding, Michigan. The date will be approximately Sept 14 2006. The cost is gonna be 171 dollars for the day. We are not trying to make any money just enough to cover the track. We welcome all levels of riders!!!!! This will be a really small track day and what could be better. Anyone that has any intrest please email me at [email protected]. We currently have 10 people intersted and we just decided to do this Aug 1 2006. I hope to hear from any interested parties it should be a great day.

One of the locals is on vacation. I'll point him your way when he gets back next week.

I don't have the gear or the set up for track time yet.

will you have the usual setup with novice->intermediate->advanced riding sessions? also are you going to have track coaches out there riding or is it more of a free-for-all kind of track day? I'd be interested but it would be my first track day and I just want to make sure that it would be a good atmosphere for that...

Small groups are one of the best was to do a track day. However I do recommend a novice track school for you rookies.

So you're saying that this might not be the best situation for my first track day? What do you mean by "novice track school"?

Corner Speed

This is a great school. It offers a class for novice to learn the ways of the track and a class for experts. Expert class is available to graduates of the Novice class and to licensed racers.

There may be one at Grattan too.

Edit
Just checked. It seems they offer a driving school but no ridding school.
