Track Days...

The Schedule for Next years track days have been posted, the first one is:

Monday, February 5th @ Texas World Speedway

So I'm seriously looking for some reasonable leathers but; my main concern is, would it be in error to take a ZX12 out for a track day? I normally only hear about 600-800's on the track and rarely hear of 1000's. I really wonder if it's just not recommended to take that size of a bike out for a few rounds, or is that just the noob thinking?

I see lottsa liter bikes at the track. I take it this will be your first time? If so, I'd say don't worry bout what others may or may not say or think, but rather focus on yours & your bikes abilities. After all, the skills you learn on the track help to prepare you for the morons on the street.

Have a blast man. Rubber side down

lots of litre bikes at the track. I've seen busas at the track once in awhile but not usually under very good riders.

I say go for it I personally think it would be fun to ride one of the big boys on the track in fact I think I would rather ride one at the track.
