TrackXperience opener - WSIR 3/12 (Mon) - 2 groups, from $170pp

this just in from Todd...
------------------------------------------------------------------------

Cal-Sportbike TrackXperience season opener - Willow Springs Big Track on Monday March 12th!

RIDING SCHOOL: With a comprehensive Level 1 school to rival national schools, we should be the first choice for riders who are looking to build their skills and become precision riders! And with us, while speed is fun, it's all about precision with us, not just the speed!

OPEN LAPPING: Open lapping (must be an experienced track rider) is free riding with abundant track time yet we keep unsafe and discourteous riders out of our events. You bring out a nice bike, we expect you to be able to take it home shiny too. Our staff of professional instructors are available throughout the day for one-on-one personal coaching, and they monitor this group for safe and courteous riding. (open lapping IS allowed in L1 for riders desiring a slower pace, whereas L2 is higher intermediate to advanced lapping riders)

TRACSTAR CHALLENGE: Tracstar is a skills-based rider certification and awards program which focuses on developing both physical and mental bike control skills and safety habits. It is inspired by proven sports training programs that have worked well for decades around the globe. Tracstar is free and optional for any rider.

FORMAT: 2 customized groups. Long sessions means 50% more riding than a "3 group" format event. Not only do you receive more miles, but a BETTER experience. What's your track day funds worth to you?

AMENITIES: We deliver chilled bottled water and Gatorade delivered to each pit during the day, and the optional catering tickets include a full hot buffet breakfast and full buffet lunch!
Vendor services at this event include trackside tire service (provided Racer's Edge Michelin - Precepts Motorsports), photography by CaliPhotography, and suspension tuning by CycleMall and/or CRS Tuning. We have standby EMS and of course a full corner staff for your safety.

The ticket price is $170 per rider and includes beverage service (catering extra). You get what you pay for and our riders expect a better experience with more track time and better amenities.

More information on the TrackXperience riding school, open lapping, and the Tracstar™ Challenge Program can be found online at http://www.trackXperience.com or by calling (800) 930-8520.

Media inquiries or registration questions may be directed to Todd Robinson at [email protected] or at 800-930-8520, extension 81.

Some discounts apply for industry employees, licensed racers, and select sponsored groups.

Very, very, very good experience with these guys. I did the school back in October in Pahrump. The catering is really good too. Good bunch of guys. A bunch of people were complaining to Todd about "Blue #7". You get blue jerseys if you're in th school. The session before lunch and each one after, I was doing, what some people would call, "sketchy" passes. Well fu*k! When you go to a track day with 8 people you know, it's gonna get spirited. I was wearing a blue, number seven jersey.

http://www.trackXperience.com They should have track prep info there. And they usually always have a tire representative, or two, there for all your tire needs. Michelin was there when I was there. Ask them what the suggested pressure for whatever tires you have.

For the track, take your mirrors off, tape up your head and tail light. I usually disable my lights anyway. Gotta have good rubber, brakes and no leaks. A 1 peice, or two peice that zippers together, gauntlet gloves, and riding boots that covers the ankles.

Sorry about the late replys...

DLIT,
Yup I get a new 07' GSX-R750 ... I post up some pics when I get some...

YZFR61ST,
what cha doing in my neck of the Desert?
I'm always riding something, either my Street bike or my Dirt bike... it's all good! you should be riding ACH??? just ride the speed limit up there though, heard lots of speeding tickets are being giving out...

I'll be doing a breakfast run this Sunday going up ACH to newcombs ranch, I'm meeting up with a group from www.socal-sportbikes.com... this is my home sportbike forum, as many know I'm on many forums... your more than welcome to ride along, We meet up at the Shell Gas station at the bottom of ACH at 9:00am, wear your gear / we ride at the speed limit, no need to ride any faster because you won't impress anyone of us.

Look for me, I'll be riding the New blue/white GSX-R750 wearing blue/white Alpinestars MX1 leathers and Arai twisted yellow helmet, (but to me it has more blue than yellow)

talk to me on the ride, (if you go) about what's need for the Track event, I'm an instructor with Cal-Sportbike TrackXperience.

Yes we'll have trackside tire service (provided Racer's Edge Michelin - Precepts Motorsports).

Have you been to the track before? if not you might want to get the tires done as soon as you get to the track, get there a bit early so you can get it done asap, you have to attend a riders meeting before the track goes hot, I would also recommend doing the novice shool if you have never been on the track.

check out this to find out what is required of you and your bike... Policies and rules

DLIT, the thread you started is on 702 or this or here on 2wheel?
fyi check the weather forecast for rain, not sure Idyllwild would be a good place to go, but pines to palms hwy is great, few mile from Idyllwild...

I'll see if I can hook up you all, as PInes to palms hwy & mount palomar is where I was planning on going Saturday... until I saw you post just now...
