YEAAAH i was first in the 750 category! The track was amazing..its so grippy..i worn my new tires alot.. i was told that every 3 track days i would need a new pair of tires! that's gonna cost, i just got the Diablo III which is suppose to be hard in the middle and soft on the outer for the busa i think i will go for slicks for the 750 for the track day!
It was great fun!

Thanks guyz!
I never imagined the track was so grippy though, im in love with it! Cant wait to do it again and would recommend it to anyone to give it a try.
I forgot to mention that there is this american dude who has a Busa who was on track, he overtakes the R1's and is real quick.. I asked him how he does that, he said he only changed the gearing on the bike, 1 down in the front, 2 up in the back and its quick.. i dont think i'd try that though.
Any advice from ya'll who'd been on the track? Do's and donts? Any info would be grateful

Congrats on your first race, and great result!

If your going to do this more often!

Slicks for dry weather, they're generally cheaper too! A set of tyre warmers help them to last a little longer, as well as getting them up to temp quicker.

Get some race fairings, ducktail, etc. remove your indicators, headlights etc. Even if your local rules don't say that, a few hours race prep will save you big money in the event of a crash. If you don't or cant remove them, at least tape them up. Same with the mirrors. remove or tape. If someones behind you, and youre going faster, they're not your problem.

Welcome to my addiction!

yeah it is an addiction isnt it..
How long or how many track days do you think the slicks will last? Bahrain normally is dry and not cold.. Local rules say its your choice, but i cant remove all those and buy race fairings, cant afford that yet, but i was promised by a major network provider for cells that if i do good this season, i will get his sponsorship for next season. Which by the way is only two more events then the track closes for the Forumla One race in April 13-14-15 i think so track closes for all other events for the track to be ready. Im overjoyed though if i can get sponsorship that would make me even get another bike just for the track maybe
Between u and me, im terrified of crashing coz i cant afford to repair it, im converting my gixxer 1000 (02) into a 1070cc for street and drag use coz i blew the engine and i m still paying for that and it aint finished. Too many hobbies , not to much money to keep up
