I got my racing # this season

I got my license a few weeks ago at SMMR with Jim Cox, then sent in my paperwork to WERA. I got it back the other day and managed to get one of my geekier choices for a number. I'll be racing as a novice (yellow number plate) in the Superstock C and possibly B divisions as number 2^9 (or 512) in WERA WEST. If you guys see me out there, feel free to come say hi. I should be at every event, funds pending.

2 to the 9th power, superscript doesn't work on this forum for some reason, the ^ is the calculator symbol for power.

There's a local guy I went through, Jim Cox, who does instruction for WERA. I did his class, then just signed up through WERA. There's a few schools listed on their site that they accept as credentials.

WERA and CCS are both great organizations to go through and fairly easy to get into once you take some sort of class. Alot of the sponsored racers I work with are members and only have good things to say about their races!!

Good luck this season!!
