Mar 26 Jerez
. The Jerez circuit doesn't have any excessively long straights, so the Ducati's of Stoner and Loris won't be able to use their top end advantage, Although Loris topped timesheets in Jerez in early 800cc testing.
Valentino Rossi hasn't won a race in his last 5 outings! Dani Pedrosa tips the Yamahas to have the advantage at Jerez, But there is an old Spanish proverb which, loosely translated, says " Never discount the midget riding in front of his home crowd!"
I have it on good authority that, for no other reason than to bugger up tipping comps across the world, six different riders have won the last six races
. The last time that happened was 1999/2000, when a record 7 different riders won seven consecutive races. If Vale, Marco, Loris, Toni or Casey (or Troy Bayliss, but that's a given) DON't win this race, it will equal that 99/00 record.
Considering I (a) won't be tied to the computer this weekend, and (b) Foxtel don't show qualifying live, TIPS WILL CLOSE 3AM saturday morning sydney time
THATS 12 NOON FRIDAY IN NEW YORK, AND 5pm FRIDAY IN JEREZ.
Any tips received after this time will simply be disregarded.
Don't be the disgruntled one, make sure you're tips are in on time.
New tippers welcome. With 25 points up for grabs, points lost for missing a round or two can easily be made up..........if you know your GP!
1. Loris Capirossi
2. Dani Pedrosa
3. Valentino Rossi
