AMA Superbike Superstock

Anyone following it. I know TWF gets the feeds... but anyone have any insight. Our sponsored Racers did fairly well yesterday

Herrin came in 11th in the 600
Barnes came in 4th
May came in 9th
Beck came in 16th

Not too bad at all out of 62 riders

Ben Spies of course wins my heart for sure!!

Not that I give a care but before someone flames you, remember to put "spoiler" in your thread title so as the uppity types don't see the results of the race they just Tivo'ed before they actually get around to watching it...PS I am a big Barney fan! The M4 Suzook's do quite well on their Pirelli's

Supersports was a good race inspite of the Kawi's checking out. Congrads Kawi on a FAST ZX6R! Tommy did a good job of setting Hecking up for the last lap. He let him study him all race then changed a little and sped up on the final lap to keep hacking from drafting. Smart.

Im not much of a banking fan, but when guys are so close it makes for some great racing. Especially when Barnes was wobbling so bad on the high banks. And way to go Cory West for holding your own for as long as possible. i know hes not an AGV rider (1hott, your an AGV rep right?) but he did a good job till he went down.

oh yeah -

I was at the International Horseshoe during the races. The most awesome sight was watching Spies and Bostrom drag elbows while going nose to tail through the turn...

2005 GIXXER 1K and 2008 ZX 10R.

DAytona 200 was cool- WAY TO GO RAPP! Kawasakis new ZX6R looked real good this weekend @ Daytona!

It was something that the Erions and factHondas ran out of gas on the track at the same time.

Duhamel said plainly he did not run out of gas. Officla Honda line is that they had fuel pump problems. 3 of the 4 Hondas with factory parts failed so I think it is just the old excuse of "we had an electrical failure" when in reality something trick broke

Anyone catch Josh hayes pre race interview? Basically he said what we all said about 2006: "Yamaha has nothing better to do but throw their factory effort on FX. Poor me is on a lowly support team... and i wooped em! Off to superbike Yammy!" not a quote but thats basically what he said-

It was a great weekend for both Kawi and Zuke. Those ZX-6R's were bad ass, nobodody could keep up with them.

those races were the AWESOMEST thing I have EVER SEEN!! Obviously it was my first year at the races, I'm hooked!! It was super cool to see all the racers and the fights for the lead!!

I think next year I am going by myself...I was the only one in my group who *gasp* didnt get bored after the first few laps...they had to drag me kicking and screaming away from the races...*sniff*

i think the draw for them was to go and see all the other stuff at bike week, whereas I am not much for looking at pretty bikes, I would SO rather see a dirty bike performing than a pretty bike sitting on a stand!!!

I love my friends, I wont ditch them, but I was totally serious about going on my own next time!!

every bike show I've ever gone to I go by myself... so I can see what I want... when i want... most of my friends like the show bikes... the streched busas and what not.... they're just not my flavor... I don't think I'd have seen much at Daytona other than the races though...
