What a great race between Velentino and Casey, Great to see Casey withstand the pressure.

How fast is that Ducati??? Tighter tracks will reduce the advantage, but still, it's been a long time since someone could just drive past another rider on the straight without at least some drafting.

GO CASEY!!!

What a race! That Duc was awesome. Vale kept chasin him down in the turns, but Stoner just blew him away in the straights. Gotta have Yamaha scratchin their heads.

Can't wait to see this all play out this year.

I was also glad to see Hopkins up there.

Stoner claimed in his interveiw that he had some in reserve! Set his fastest lap in the last lap of the race! That is one fast Ducati! And Capirossi will be back if the bike is that fast he will rebound and show his colors.

Now can someone get Colin and Nicky fired up please?!

INDEED!!! Last season, I was disappointed when Stoner would get close to the front with the pressure on, he'd choke. WHAT AN IMPROVEMENT! I'd like to see him go far this season.

And what are you so happy about, Chuck?! It's not like he's from the same country as you.

Not only is he from the same country, He's from the same STATE

NSW, Home of Kurri Kurri (Casey), Taree (Troy Bayliss), Wollongong (Troy Corser, Wayne Gardner) , Camden (Mat Mladin) among others

Remember, Australia is larger than the Continental US, but with only 7 states.
so it's a little bit like saying "Nicky Hayden's not just American, HE'S FROM THE BIT SOUTH OF CANADA!"

Which raises another issue. Where are all the talented Yanks in WSBK??

hopkins toughed that one out like a trooper. Real nasty highside at the Jerez test and he pulls in a 4th weeks later! Nicky did the best he could, still a sore shoulder and the new RCpocketbikeV isnt agreeing with him. Im sure it'll get sorted soon.

BTW- the Duc is a BEAST!

And i dont know why there arent 'Mare-kins in WSBK. Waiting for the right situation i guess. nobody wants to go over and wash out on a perienial cellar dweller.

We can't afford the cost of fuel to get there & Dlit is in the service at this point

I'd sell my Vette to fly over there to race, but I suck

Team Yamaha didn't do bad with a 2nd and a 6th. Where was Capirossi? All the names not mentioned DNF?
