Cadwell Park

So many of you may not pay much attention to racing across the pond, but there is one racetrack that provides some very impressive photographic opportunities: Cadwell Park (many people mis-spell it as 'caldwell...')

At Cadwell, 'the mountain' is a portion of the track that is famous for riders going airborne. Although the fastest racers say that the best way to get through there fast is to get as little air as possible, it certainly provides some awesome photos.

One of the fun guys to watch over there is Johnny Rea. Not only does he win, but he also airs out and shows off for the crowd. The first one of these pictures you may have seen posted here on TWF before:

And now THIS is badass:

Now, here are some other riders getting air:

How the FLUCK did he land this!?!?!

And here's an awesome BSB (British Superbike) video from Cadwell as well... some VERY exciting racing:

There is a guy at 600rr.net that track days at cadwell. Everytime he posts a new track day somewhere else in england I get depressed by the amount of tracks we have.... We need more great tracks in the US. Getting barber in march, one day I want to hit Laguna.

Where did you host 'em? Usually I can see Photobucket, and I can see Trip's I'll look when I get home.

As for tracks... I think there are about 4 within 200 miles of me. Maybe not great ones, but certainly better than nothing. And 200 miles is a pretty easy drive for me.

Yeah cadwell looks like it would be a blast, albeit somewhat dangerous.

I'd love to ride laguna. That corkscrew must feel amazing when you get through it correctly.

Yeah I'm with ya. Donington and Cadwell are two tracks that really stand out to me... not only that I would like to ride them, but they provide some very exciting racing.

Yeah... BSB rules.
