Got some track wheels!

Near-mint for $550 shipped. Looks like I'll be painting my track 'glass black with yellow pin-striping. Got some rotors on the way from Ebay already too. Tires came with them, but I'll just give them away to someone who needs 'em.

If you're only planning on tracking your bike anyway... what's the point?

Talking to a number of dudes that SO's ride.... that's not the worst thing in the world. Works well for some couples, not so well for others...

I wouldn't want my girl to ride. To have to teach her would suck even more.
Some things I would rather not share. HAHA

What if your girl told you the exact same thing DLIT, the you could only ride with her? Would you listen to her?

I told mine I would buy her a bike, but the choice is completely up to her. I would let her ride by herself if she wanted, not going to demand something I wouldn't accept if she demanded it back. She is thinking about a 250r or a rebel 250. She would most likely rather comfort over speeding around. She liked Psychochild's rebel a lot when she came down here.

I would never teach mine, that would just get ugly. I would send her to MSF.

dont teach your so to ride, have someone else do it, they will learn more and you wont be frustrated with each other, what is simple to us, is very complicated to someone else, but not to jack, nice rims, and black and yellow are a sick sombination esp for 550 bucks

I wonder what PC would say if you told her, she could only ride when you rode with her. I think she would slap you or worse.

It's only til she gets comfortable enough on it. And my girl isn't pissy about me telling her she's not riding without me. She's cool like that. And she wouldn't tell me that. My main thing is teaching her routes that avoid as amny surface streets as possible. People blow red lights like no tomorrow in Vegas.

I thought about that too. I just gotta be patient. It's more of me teaching her about scanning the road, where's the best place to be when passing someone, etc.... Basically, situational stuff. She already knows how to ride. She took the MSF course twice already and she has the endorsement on her license. I want to teach her how to ride deffensivly(?) so she'll know what to do if a cage decides to act like she's not there, you know?

If she is fine with that, then whatever works for ya'll. I am not saying that she would tell you that, however, how would you react if she said she didn't feel safe with you out there riding by yourself and she wanted to ride with you whenever you rode on the streets? It's completely hypothetical to see how you would deal with the same demands.

That's kinda double standard. I know how you ride and I know how I ride. If anyone should be a nervous wreck, it should be PC and A. I ride like a toolbag in the mountains. I am not going to make excuses or try to explain how it's not stupid, it just is. We are the other idiots on the road.

I don't think most who rides are 100% safe when they ride... we all take risks... that's why we ride in the first place... though I'm still pretty tame as I'm still very new... and don't have that 10ft tall and bullet proof mentality

I think he got married just recently. Either just before he went to Korea or during.
