Whats up here pickle? JK? Does anyone post up the results regularly?

Anyway, Rossi came off, Capirossi cruised for the win, Hayden was running second but couldn't hold off a hard charging Pedrosa, his rookie teammate, so he settled for third.

Loris may have checked out, but it was interesting to watch Pedrosa shadow Nicky. THeir styles are noticeably diffrent. nicky looks like he uses up his tires too much compared to dani's much smoother bike control. 250cc experience i suppose. I had 2 big dissapointments in this race. One was Nakano wasting his front row start. The kawi may be able to put down a fast lap, but not in traffic. the other was Edwards. I know he was held up in turn 1, but once he got going, he didnt advance much.

PS, offically, i dont think anyone is the results poster.

My bad. I guess I figured since pickle kinda chastized someone on another thread for talking about results before they were posted, that there was a regular results post. I was waitin' all week to talk smack about the race, and nobody said squat!

Results do come up every once in a while. Pickles problem was not warning in title that results would be in thread. Post away and title the thread accordingly.

I was a little dissapointed... Pedrosa did much better than I expected... though I thought Nicky would have held him off better... I'm glad Capirossi won... but it really all went down hill for me after the first corner... who took Rossi out anyone see?

I was kinda dissapointed they didn't interview Rossi... I wanted to hear his take on the wreck and if he had any bike trouble... I did gain alot of respect for him though... all that for just 2 points? not many would bother

I'm new to the MOTOGP world... but what are the rules with cautions... are there any? is it only when they're approaching a wreck? SCHOOL ME?!

It depends on if its a full curse caution or just for the turn the wreck is in.. No passing allowed in caution area.

Both Rossi and Edwards had been complaining about front end chatter, and both were down the order a bit.
What would have been good, to see a fully competitive Rossi fighting his way back after a disasterous first corner. Loris rode great, as did Dani and Nicky. I'm pretty chuffed with Casey's first result, I predict some podiums for him before too long.

Also thought John Hopkins did well. Finally the Suzuki looks capable of doing something. I was dissapointed with Chris Vermuelen's race, but it is first time out. I hope he can at least stick closer to the front next time!

Still, a good race, bring on the next one!!

i wonder what changed on the M1 to cause VR and CE to have such trouble. I remeber colin saying that the M1 is the only bike he can save a low side with his knee on. And he altered his riding of the bike to more of a 250 style of riding. Its race one and once things get sorted, im sure he will be up front with rossi.

I thought it was a great start to the season minus Rossi getting knocked out turn 1. He was furious, and at first it seemed as if he was going to call it quits but then hopped back up on that bike and worked it. Hes a very talented character, but hey, we can't all have great starts every race, and this just means hes got to work much harder throughout the season to get back up there.

I look forward to this weekends race to see how he rides. I'm sure he'll be riding a little more cautious at first just to get out of the trouble areas, and focus on the season more than just the race at hand.

Amazing start for motoGP though. Lets see whats to come
