Recorded it the other night and watched it last night. Sure would like to hop on one of their bikes to see who much time I could shave off a lap!!!! and then decide what kind of a rider I was. Talked with a friend that did the Traxx dropins on the front and Tri Click on the rear of his 636. Said it took an average of 4 sec off his time by just doing that. Now with this being said, I'd have to drop about 15 a lap to even compete....

I saw the Special...thought it was good...learned a thing or two...I liked the part about the wheels going different speeds and how it affected lap times...

It's great to see the Hayden brothers being top riders. I watched them grow up racing WERA from about 10 years ago. Kudos for their dad to encourage their racing careers.

That show rocks. It even had a segment on using front brakes only. The rear brakes did very little in stopping distance. Nothing was even mentioned about rear brakes settling suspension during braking.

So true about the intense concentration on the track. your mind wears out quicker than your body. brain fade and you're on your back.

Yeah, I saw it on the science channel the other night. It was a very good show designed for less informed people... but I agree with Bee, I didn't know varying wheel speeds affected lap times.

I did too. Was this actually on the Discovery channel or Discovery's Science channel? I checked on Wednesday (9:00-9:30 pm) and didn't see anything listed. What time was it televised?

Probably on discovery science. Look at www.thediscoverychannel.com and search for speed on two wheels.
