I will agree with the second comment but the first one made no sense at all. I know what your trying to say. You will alway have both. However, the HP at the crank will always drop from there to the wheel.

True HP on pavement is true HP. When was last time you saw bike or auto manufacture advertise HP at rear wheels???
Since we are talking about stock bike numbers, most of us use manufacture numbers when talking about HP on new bikes
It funny because Im 24 and over 40k worth of bikes in my Garage Not including my GF's other race bike. Not including my car. Money is somthing I dont have a problem with. And that bike is sh!T IE New copy of Performace bikes says "it sounds like a pig giving birth". And has the power of a snail going uphill. Nice bike old man.

Wonder how many of these younger guys on this forum will keep themselves in shape for physical activities much less sport bike riding when they hit 30's and 40's Odds are many will not

Actually, I find that many mc riders do actually keep themselves in shape and continue riding into the golden years if they dont give into girlfriends/wives pleas and demands to give up the bike before then. Motorcycling is who I am, it is a part of me and I will be riding until as long as physically possible, like when I hit 60's or 70's. I am on the verge of 30 and I have been riding the hardest I have in my life this year on the track and street and its been a breeze for this ole lady!
It's all about how fast you go thru them. I want to keep my 9R until it doesn't run anymore...probably after a crash if I had to guess!
