Scorpion - Crazy modded R1200S

Tell me this isn't crazy...

Available Summer '08.
brief article here
The Scorpion is a BMW R1200S chassis covered in striking body work by CANJAMOTO, a Canadian company operating out of Toronto. CANJAMOTO stands for Canadian Jamaican Motorsports.

There are no gauges on the Scorpion as all instrumentation is shown on a heads up display.

Different types of windscreens can be fitted to the BMW Scorpion depending on the desired use for the bike.

Street and racing models of the Scorpion are planned for 2008 with the turbo version producing 160hp at the rear wheel.

The goal of CANJAMOTO designer Richard Minott is to create motorcycles that have the presence and feel of exotic cars. Hence the smooth surface over the top of the bike which is intended to reflect the sensation of an exotic cars hood.

WTF over? It has a huge overdone upper, but no lower fairing- what is that about? It looks like some bizarre mutated fish experiment off Doom or Resident Evil or something.

I do like how the exhaust exits the tail section though...

Ditto. Wonder if that pipe would get in the way of a hugger. It seriously needs somethign to smooth out the bottom half.

I dunno, I kinda like the "half-faired" look. Kinda like the Guzzi MGS-01 and the late model Ducati Supersports. Must be a twin thing. Showin off those barrels.

That one is hot!

Maybe if you could do a real slim air dam/deflector that carried the lines of the nose downward it would look smoother.

I hate half fairings... I think the only one that remotely pulls it off is Buell... Even then, not my cup of tea...

The pointy SV does it pretty well. But it looks much better with a full fairing.

Don't really like it a lot right now, but I think it might be something that could grow on you. Exhaust is pretty cool though. It's creative/different if anything. Oh, and I agree with most of the other posts: full fairings = best
