V-5 Honda??

Is Honda really making a production V-5 in '07??
On raptorsandrockets.com I saw an article about that. I know the 211V is a v-5... I also saw , on the same website, that WSBK is going to allow 1200cc of displacement for V-twins because apparently the 4's have an advantage over V-twins... Um.. the 999's do pretty well in Superbike the last time I checked. Has anyone seen the V-5 Ducati streetbike based on their GP bike? 999R owners get priority in getting their hands on them.

ive heard similar rumors. The 1200 Duc is a persistent one. Mabye a hint of truth? but the reason being that they arent competetive is a bunch of crap, or bayliss is just THAT good.

Ducati releasing the Desemosedici RR V4 has led to alot of speculating on other close GP bikes coming out. A street M1 is a rumor too. All of which i want to come true in the worst way! But till then i'll just fantasize about a world where RC211V's and M1's cruise bike nights and a Desmosedici sits in my garage. But a funny thing, is that the bike that could make the easiest transition to the street (kawi) has no rumors what so ever. Im going to read that Rap&rockets article and see whats up with the honda.

a street-legal 211V and M1 would be the bikers' answer to cars like Vipers and Vettes. While rockets are faster than those cars in acceleration, they will kill bikes in top speed. IF, and I emphasize on the 'IF', they make a street version of RC211V and M1, I hope they aren't detuned too much. Cuz I think they can easily break the 200mph barrier. I'm betting they can do around 250mph provided they are set up that way. Currently there's no reason to set those bikes up for such speeds because the GP tracks aren't designed for anything like that anyway.
