Just picked up a new Honda

I just picked up my dream machine over the weekend. The bike came with Shogun No-Cut sliders, Competition Werkes FE and a Yosh RS-5 slip-on with a PC3 and custom map.

I stopped by Mike's (CTSMoto) on the way home and he hooked me up with some sweet ass bits. Thanks to Mike I did my first mods to the bike in under an hour from taking possession.

Pazzo levers, ProGrip (gel) grips and his own anodized preload adjusters.

Sweet ride! You should sell the Yosh and get the Arrow GP exhaust for it. It looks and sounds bad ass! Not that yours doesn't now.

Notice the under tail pipe too?

But I gotta ask...whats with guys putting sweat bands over the brake fluid reservior?

I like the yosh too. Just throwing it out there.

The bands are to reduce condensation in the reserviour. Because water can boil and it wouldn't be good to have in your lines.

Yeah, one of the bikes I was looking at buying had the arrow exhaust. I haven't seen nor heard one in person yet. I like the fact that the 1000RR's have the underseat exhaust, I'm not sure how I'd feel putting a side pipe on there too.

The Yosh is wicked! It's got a throaty rumble at idle and sounds damn near close to an AMA superbike at speed. It's loud, too loud maybe but it sounds so frickin' sweet!!!!! My coworkers heard me coming in the parking lot and greeted me before I even got off the bike. They said they could hear me from inside the building before they could see me coming down the street.

Nah, we really haven't done any bike reviews, just the stuff we put on them. This opens up a whole new avenue for reviews as the new 1000 has much more available to it than the older 900. Although, I'm not going to do too many changes to the bike. I like the way it looks stock and even plan on keeping the stock clear windscreen.

I see. That actually makes sense. I thought it might just be for looks.

Yeah, what he said!

I think it's more needed on the race bikes as they are the ones pushing these things to the extreme. I just like the way it looks on the bike and Mike was gracious enough to hand me one.

Hey, did anyone catch Mike's booth at Laguna? Dude, he had some sweet ass rotors and carriers there on display. The rotors are available now, but the carriers are awaiting DOT approval. I'll see if I can get him to send my some picks as I didn't take any at the track.

My Pazzo's came from CTS moto. But from someone else.

Yeah the bands really don't need to be used on the street. I plan on flushing my fluid and throwing one on for the track.
